Malaysians would not want to continuously be drowned in the political bickering between the 7th prime minister Tun Mahathir and the 8th prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Both betrayed UMNO and started Bersatu and are now fighting for ownership of Bersatu with one holding on to UMNO and the other holding on to Pakatan Harapan (PH). At the end of the day, they are both fragmenting the Malay community while the UMNO, MCA and MIC leaders are squandering the nation’s kitty. Bersatu's infighting which is rejoiced by UMNO leaders are destroying the country and taking it towards bankruptcy with an inexperienced and puppet finance minister handling the financial affairs of the country in denial.
This party's infighting has gone out of proportion when one hates the other so much, tries to oust each other from Bersatu and attempts to prove their words. Worse, Tun Mahathir came out bold challenging Muhyiddin Yassin’s authority and power to sack him and four others in an open statement on 2 June. Together with Dato’ Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, Dato’ Amiruddin Hamzah, and Dr. Maszlee Malik, Tun Mahathir claimed they were mistreated and unjustly sacked by the party president and six other MPs. Meanwhile Muhyiddin Yassin, who appears to be ‘calmer’ and quieter, may not be simply irritated by Tun Mahathir’s challenge as he is more concerned about the numbers that PH has in hand to challenge his position as prime minister and the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government. He knows well that Tun Mahathir’s barking will not hurt him as much as the embarrassment and pain he would feel if he loses his premiership that he has just held since late February 2020.
Not surprising, the media are now rallying behind PKR president and PH cum Opposition Leader Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the 9th Prime Minister. It is claimed that his new alliance Pakatan Harapan ++ has been structured to protect and care for the Malay agenda with strong backing from non-PH members of Parliament and alliance. It is also claimed that with a strong majority in hand, His Majesty The King has been made aware of the new alliance led by Anwar Ibrahim as the 9th Prime Minister. This new alliance is expected to bring renewed hope and rejuvenation to a country that has been in health, financial and political crisis since February due to two greedy and unscrupulous Bersatu leaders. Anwar Ibrahim would be the most suitable candidate as he has been bullied and wrongly punished for fighting against injustice, broken promises, and treachery all for the sake of helping the people and country. This new hope in him is further sealed with his fighting spirit to enshrine and preserve the Malay agenda without sidelining the non-Malays will put an end to the previous extreme governments in Malaysia.
