Najib is gripping Muhyiddin’s neck tighter with his “Bossku” claws

Dato’ Seri Najib Razak may not just be sitting at home eating junk food and caressing his furball as posted on his social media accounts while other prominent political leaders fight for leadership positions. He may also be posting responses to what is happening in the country and its politics, trolling them and making fun out of them, but he has been the one responsible for pinching Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin from behind as he wishes. With ongoing health issues, Muhyiddin Yassin has to appear strong and capable in front of the media and people but how long can he stand being manipulated by the kleptocratic Najib Razak?

Najib Razak is currently content because the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government led by Muhyiddin Yassin is following what he says, particularly in the distribution of either ministerial or GLC top positions to UMNO warlords. Not forgetting PAS, who is UMNO’s ally in Muafakat Nasional (MN), that has also been given as much leeway and many ‘special roles’ as UMNO. These could have been the ‘deal’ mentioned by Muhyiddin Yassin in the leaked audio that was recorded in a Bersatu meeting before the formation of the new PN government and his appointment as 8th prime minister.

While bearing with a number of court cases involving 1MDB, Najib Razak is seen a happier man now knowing that he would soon be ‘freed’ from them and will continue his attempt to be on the top level again. Such special treatment has been given to him as his court hearing sessions have often been postponed due to the MCO, although others involving the laypeople still continue to be heard. His wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor would also be the happiest schemer when the current PN government is willingly playing to her tune. The despicable manner in which her son, Riza Aziz, who has been released from his case is still the talk of the town.  Also not forgetting that Najib Razak’s first son, Mohd Nizar, was named by UMNO Pahang to contest for Chini’s by-election, proving Najib's invisible hands are strongly at work. Indeed, the Najib-Rosmah empire is returning to the country as more Malaysians have begun to forget their unruly, greedy behaviour that caused the country a huge loss and an embarrassing milestone. The issue here is, why is Muhyiddin Yassin willing to work with the person who backstabbed him in the past? Even if he is truly so forgiving, can he simply forget it? How could he simply say “yes” to this kleptocrat and his family knowing that Malaysians hated their guts? Why is he allowing Najib Razak to leash his neck as the latter wishes? While the country is facing the Covid-19 pandemic and economic issues, is Muhyiddin Yassin ready for the people’s retaliation against his revival of Najib Razak’s governance?
