The release of an alleged leaked audio of Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s “scheme of thing” of buying UMNO leaders to join Bersatu to make the party “the single, largest Malay party” has shockingly caught the attention of Malaysians. In the audio, which was claimed to have been recorded in February, Muhyiddin Yassin stated numbers being calculated in the scheme he plotted to increase support for the party as well as to enlarge the party. This ‘evidence’ makes the claim by some that Muhyiddin Yassin has been lobbying for MP support sound more believable despite his claim of no interest in politicking made during the early phase of the MCO. This conniving man, whom Malaysians have referred to as “Abah” (father) due to his calm and religious nature, now is being underfired as the audio revealed his plan. More sadistic, he even claimed that although he is ‘unwell’, he is still politically ‘working’ to get the numbers to support him and his side of Bersatu. Shameful! Malaysians have empathized him for his deceit.

What’s next? The audio could have been circulated by the Bersatu president’s foes through a mole who has been siding the opposite. Well, who cares? Malaysian must know the truth. An “audio for an audio” is now the trend of the political scenario in this country that relives the revengeful nature of the political leaders who are groomed with greed and malice. Earlier, a photo of Tun Mahathir sitting calmly with among others Dato’ Seri Zahid Hamidi, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal, Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali and Dato’ Seri Abdul Hadi Awang was circulated with a claim that it was taken before the Sheraton Move on 23 February 2020. Tun Mahathir was said to have disagreed with the Sheraton plan due to his disgust of UMNO, but this is also evident that he was well informed of the move that led to the appointment of Muhyiddin Yassin as prime minister. Thus, what was his resignation and anger against the latter for? Indeed, Malaysians have been ridiculed and fooled by these people who had no interests in their plights. How far can this be allowed?
